How to Create a Personalized Greeting for Voicemail
Login to holderness.zoom.us using your Holderness Email account
In the panel to the left, select Phone
In the top menu bar, select Settings
Scroll down and locate the section titled Call Handling.
Under this section, look for the feature Greeting & Leave voicemail…..
Click on Edit and select Add Audio
TEXT TO SPEECH
For users that would like to do a Text to Speech greeting, enter information into the following fields and click on Add at the bottom:
Asset Name = Name of file (ie. John Doe’s Daily Greeting)
Category = Voicemail Greeting
Language = American English
Voice = Choose a voice
Message to Play = type a greeting in the box. This is what a caller will hear when they get your greeting. Zoom automatically creates a voice greeting for you.
UPLOAD A RECORDING
For users that would like to Upload a recording (**this means you have a voice recording already saved on your computer**), enter information into the following fields and click on Add at the bottom:
Asset Name = Name of the file (ie. John Doe’s Daily Greeting)
Category = Voicemail Greeting
Language = American English
Audio Upload = M3 or WAV file on your computer
RECORD BY COMPUTER
For users that would like to Record by Computer, enter information into the following fields and click on Add at the bottom:
Asset Name = Name of the file (ie. John Doe’s Daily Greeting)
Category = Voicemail Greeting
Language = American English
Record Audio = click the red button when you are ready and record your message.
For whatever method you choose, once you set the greeting, the following should appear similar to the image below. You are all set!
